Safeguarding Statement – TrueBase CIC

TrueBase CIC places safeguarding and the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults at the heart of all our work. We are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for all those we work with.

Our safeguarding commitments include:

All staff are DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding practice

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) oversees policies and incident management

Clear procedures for reporting, recording, and escalating concerns

Risk assessments conducted for all activities, locations, and visits

Compliance with statutory guidance, local safeguarding boards, and best practice

We work collaboratively with schools, families, local authorities, and community partners to ensure early intervention is delivered safely and ethically.
